„ Participation of the medical diagnostic laboratory within the patient care”. V SCIENTIFIC and TRAINING CONFERENCE SALMED Laboratory 2010 under the title „Participation of the medical diagnostic laboratory within the patient care” will be held in the hall 5 on the fairgrounds of the Poznan International Fair between the 10th and 12th March, 2010 – during the International Medical Fair SALMED.

Honorary patronage over the conference was taken by Professor Jacek Wysocki, the Rector of the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan. Professor Zbigniew Kopczyński is the President of the Scientific Commitee and of the Organization Committee as well, cooperating with Ms. Anna Lemańska – the SALMED manager.

Conference will be organized by: Karol Marcinkowski Medical University – Dept. of Laboratory Diagnostics, Poznan Regional Authority of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnostics, College of Laboratory Medicine in Poland, Poznan International Fair Ltd and BIT Business- Innovations- Technologies Ltd in Poznan.

Five principal sessions are foreseen, under the chairmanship of: Professor Jan Kupla – Oncology Center of the Maria Skłodowska – Curie Institute, Cracow Branch; Professor Jan Prokopowicz – Medical University in Białystok; Professor Jerzy Naskalski – Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum in Cracow; Professor Janusz Solski – Medical University in Lublin; Professor Dariusz Sitkiewicz – Warsaw Medical University.

Several own session will be also run by following companies: Siemens Ltd., P.H.P.U. ALLMED, Abbott Laboratories Poland Ltd., Bio- Ksel Ltd., Alpha Diagnostic Ltd and Ortho Clinical Diagnostic Johnson & Johnson Poland Ltd

Organization activities will be executed by BIT Business- Innovations- Technologies Ltd in Poznan.

Person willing to attend this conference should send application form ( form is available in conference information leaflet – to be obtained at Medical University in Poznan and in BIT Business- Innovations- Technologies Ltd) and, moreover, transfer conference registration fee: 140,00 PLN ( conference alone ) or 200,00 PLN ( conference + social occasion ) till the 02.03.2010 into the following account:


Registration fee will secure: badge ( giving also admission to SALMED Fair ), participation at conference, conference materials, treatment, admission to the social occasion ( this item, as previously written, for persons who transferred 200 PLN ) and certificate confirming that education points have been achieved.

Registration of participants will be run in the WTC Hall- PIF entrance from Bukowska Str. – proof of registration fee should be presented, on the 10.03.2010 : 9.00 AM – 3.00 PM, 11.03.2010 : 9.00 AM– 3.00 PM 12.03.2010 : 9.00 AM – 11.00 AM.
